Hybrid creels and Tri Core yarn

Upgradations and Tri Core attachments

A Hybrid creel is the upgradation of an existing Core or Duo Core creel, to offer to the customers new technical solutions to combine elastic, semi-elastic and/or rigid filaments. These special creels are projected “ad hoc” with the aim of supporting the spinners to exploit their textile creativity.

The Tri Core yarn is a special yarn obtained combining three filaments with different elastic properties covered by staple fibres. The three filaments are fed separately and with different drafts. This operation can be done on the ring frame but a tailormade attachment is required to upgrade the machine.

The Pinter Group offers attachments developed to guarantee three essential qualities in the yarn:

  • Constant elasticity along the yarn.
  • Perfect centring of the filaments to obtain a good coverage of the core.
  • No filaments missing.

Features and advantages

  • It can be combined with PCESY slub attachment.
  • Tailor-made mechanical adaptation according to the ring frame model.
  • Electrical cabinet with cooling technologyand tropicalized control board developed to work in extreme temperature conditions.
  • In-built UPS.

The Hybrid creel allows the production of the following kind of core yarns:

  • Soft filament covered by any spun fibre.
  • Rigid filament covered by any spun fibre.
  • Combination of two soft filaments covered by any spun fibre.
  • Combination of one soft and one hard filament covered by any spun fibre.
