Hardware for Ring frames monitoring
OptiFil – Optical detector for any kind of short staple ring frame
OptiFil is the last generation of individual optical yarn sensors. Detecting the movement of the traveller it controls continuously the status and RPM of each yarn position. In case of any anomaly the sensor informs operators and management with automatic alarms.
All the data collected from the sensors are delivered to the SmartDragon monitoring software in real time. OptiFil can a be connected to the Roving Stop system to stop the roving in case of yarn breakages.

Multistar Yarn – Optical detector for any kind of long staple ring frame.
MultiStar Yarn is an individual optical detector to keep monitored the status of each yarn position in real time. The spindle’s status is continuously monitored and in case of abnormal situation (breakage / low twist) a LED in front of the spindle position turns on to alarm the operator.
All the data collected from the sensors can be delivered to the SmartDragon monitoring software in real time. MultiStar Yarn can be connected to the Roving Stop system to stop the roving in case of yarn breaks as well.
Blumis - Electro magnetic yarn detector for Zinser 450 and 451 ring frames
Blumis is an individual electro-magnetic detector to keep monitored the status of each yarn position in real time. Its special design is developed for Zinser ™ 450 and 451 ring frames and it is the first completely hidden detector for long staple ring frames, below the ring rail. The spindle’s status is continuously monitored and in case of abnormal situation (breakage / low twist / idle spindle) a LED in front of the spindle position turns on to alarm the operator.
All the data collected from the sensors can be delivered to the SmartDragon monitoring software in real time. Blumis can be connected to the Roving Stop system to stop the roving in case of yarn breaks as well.

Roving Stop
The Roving Stop is an electromagnetic device that stops the feeding of the roving in case of yarn or filament breakages.
The Roving Stop is automatically triggered by any of the available yarn or filament detectors. Once the device is triggered, a special wedge breaks the roving between the back and middle rollers.
